Don't care who starts or what the end result is as long as the players show a bit of heart and commitment and really look as if they want to win a game. Something I havnt seen from this team for a long time

Probably the worst midfield in the last 30 years at united right there.

Id say pogba will be picked, fights happen all the time in dressing rooms up and down the country, they just dont get leaked like it happens at united

Reminded this morning as I stare down the barrel of expecting a pumping by Arsenal at home, that Van Gaal orchestrated a 3-1 win with Tyler Blackett, Paddy McNair and Chris Smalling in a back three.

Actually at a work night out tonight, but will be watching on what I can only assume will be TV's in the place. Have pretty much no confidence of a performance or a result.

I for one am not buying all these 'injuries'. Yes, there will be some players missing like Lindelof but all this 8 defenders injured I do not believe.
Jose has being playing CMs at CB all season, instead of actual CBs. That has to p1ss a few of them off.

Read above and insert Jose for Koetter... Gruden would be a replacement manager. In effect a lot of people were surprised when the glazers maintained the Bucs head guy.

I wonder if the glazers are trying to take the same approach with Jose. If that’s the case he might be coach a lot longer then we expect.

You can’t keep blowing out coaches every other year and expect to win. At some point, you do need some continuity, some consistency.

The point being: The Bucs have done some good things under Koetter.

Or maybe the Glazers are sick and tired of paying guys not to coach.

Maybe Jon Gruden didn’t want this job after all. Maybe — maybe — the Glazers, hat in hand, knocked on Gruden’s door and had it slammed in their faces.

Look, there’s certainly a risk bringing him back. Here’s the fear. The Bucs were awful this season. Something was just off about the whole thing. What happens if they start next season 1-3, and it has the same vibe as this year? Then there goes another season down the drain.

But the greater fear is switching coaches, starting over from scratch and being back in this exact same spot two years from now. That has been the Bucs’ recent history.

Better to give Koetter one more year to sort it all out. Maybe he fixes Winston’s turnover issues. Maybe Licht gets him help on defense. Maybe a running game jazzes up his play-calling. Maybe he turns this thing around and a year from now, the Bucs are headed to the playoffs.

Say what you want about the Glazers, who are clearly a root cause of the Bucs' slide toward nothingness over the past 11 seasons.

But the Glazers can step aside this weekend, comforted by the fact that there is someone worse.

Sitting at 3-6 with no apparent answers, this team looks like it’s headed for a total rebuild - yet again.

For a team as talented as the Bucs, this is a major disappointment. The entire season was basically encapsulated last week against the Redskins. Over 500 yards of total offense, but four turnovers and just three points were amassed during what should’ve been a big win at home.

That’s just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the bad qualities/habits this team possesses.

The defense is also the worst in the league and at one point was on pace to become the worst in NFL history.

These are all issues that have plagued this team since the beginning of Koetter’s tenure.

The right pieces were in place. This team finally had a franchise quarterback for the first time in its painful history. Everything was supposed to come to fruition under Koetter, one of the league’s better offensive minds.

After three years, the truth of the matter is that barring a miracle, Koetter and the majority of the staff are gone.

The Bucs will likely be on the hunt for it’s fifth head coach, third general manager, and seventh starting quarterback since 2010 after the season.

This type of turnover - especially at the top - is nowhere near the recipe for success and if the Glazers or any other owner in the NFL is telling themselves the opposite, then they are in fact lying to themselves, their employees, and their fans.

Who wants to sit through more seasons of questions, potential promises, and empty predictions when there is a roster - if used correctly - that can represent a competitive team?

The thought of another complete rebuild is not only mundane and frustrating, but it’s simply tiresome at this point. When will this franchise get its act together? Will there ever be a winning culture ever again?

Only time can answer those questions. Unfortunately for the Bucs, it looks as if they will have plenty of time this offseason to figure it out.

Two clubs owned by the same Owners with extremely similar issues. That’s no coincidence.

Looks like Bucs fans also thought a more offensive coach would get more out of the squad. Where have I heard that? It’s actually frightening how many similarities there are between the two clubs!

Spurs did very well to keep their top players & get a new stadium up and running. To me it shows the players believe in the manager and the direction the club is going in.

Players come to Man U, are paid huge money week after week & as a team cant dominate a game for more than 10-15 minutes at a time. A grumpy Mourinho isn’t going to inspire them though, especially when he’s not being backed by the guys at the top.

As for tonight’s game, the only prediction I’d back is that we will concede at least 2 goals
