Good news a a feathered Bird that cashed into my window

I just wanted to share some good news. A bird of the feathered kind crashed into my sitting room window this morning. It was injured, bleeding from its nose.
I put it in a safe location away from my cat. I fed it hot water with sugar dissolved in it and wrapped it in an old towel, after more then 5 hours it has flown away ! Thank you after hours in advance !

A lovely sharing; thank you. There is a robin here who thinks his reflection in my curtained window is THE ENEMY bird and tries to kill it. Am having to paint the outside of the window.... My cats keep trying to catch it.

That happened me with a side window in my house. I put a picture against the window, so picture visible from outside, where the bird kept pecking and it instantly stopped. Weird that it is was one part of the window too. I doubt it matters but the picture was a horrible painting of some lavender flowers in a bucket in a barn.

I must update this - Not good news, whilst I thought the bird flew away, it did but not far, as I found a happy cat and a lot of feathers ....
