ahnowbrowncow wrote: » Aircraft are actually really overpowered in this. The bombers anyway. They are really difficult to take down, AA guns only tickle them. They have an option to either increase armour or their payload but because they are extremely resilient without the armour upgrade everyone picks the extra payload. And their damage output is ridiculous, there's a video on reddit showing a bomber killing 16 people in a single pass. There's numerous other videos with bombers killing up to 10 people in one bombing pass and bombers going on 100+ killstreaks. I thought they would have learned their lesson from BF1 but no, they've made bombers even worse.https://www.reddit.com/r/BattlefieldV/comments/9wfxwc/this_is_why_dice_really_need_to_change_the/https://www.reddit.com/r/BattlefieldV/comments/9w4y3h/38_bombs_on_the_maxed_out_ju88_is_nuts/

They have already put work into changing it and speeding it up but its not enough imo, i agree with you it needs more attention. My other major issue during all beta stages is the attrition system and thankfully its so much better now and actually a decent system now.

BlitzKrieg wrote: » Despite racking up kills they appear to be having near 0 effect on the match. Had a grand operations match yesterday and there was this amazing pilot on the enemy team who was bombing our defenses to hell and constantly getting his bombs spot on to little mobs of teams. But that didnt stop us from crushing his team and winning. Which is similar to my issue with snipers. I've been sniped a lot but I've seen very few snipers actually turn the state of battle, while I've seen plenty of players going medic or assault and be that extra important body to push us over the line.

Shlippery wrote: » Well to be fair the first one is because of the auto spawn where everyone is frozen in place and the planes get to spawn early as well and fly right over (that'll definitely be fixed soon I'd say)! I'm loving flying at the moment, I think I feel somewhat competent at this stage, or else just playing against people who've never played BF in their lives! Only been harassed by one or two pros. I like the ferocity of the guns in this compared to BF1. The sound is incredible. Yes, but the Americans aren't in the game yet. It'll come in time, and it won't be paid DLC. Patience!
BlitzKrieg wrote: » Ok some further thoughts in after about 9 hours of play. Some things carry over from the beta. Woah is on you who tries to solo in this game. This game needs you to be part of a squad and you better hope they are either competent or at least people you know otherwise expect to be P*ssed at randoms. Previous battlefields did too but this one just demands it more. I saw a lot of comments saying all classes are useful and I'm going to call bull****. 3 classes are useful. 1 is useless. It's also probably the most popular. Snipers remain worthless in this. At least for now. Perhaps losing constantly will finally drive people to start playing right, but a squad with 2 assault 1 medic 1 support will do so much more then any other squad with 1 sniper. Also squad lead being sniper is sad times. I like to snipe but I havnt in this game at all so far because it's so bloody apparent how useless the role is in playing the objective at the moment. Continuing on the useless things, aircraft, again useless, they just do not do enough damage to warrant giving up boots on the ground. I'm pretty sure you'll lose the mountain map if you spawn more aircraft then your opponents. It's better to just have 1 player going in a fighter and leave the bombers at home.
BeerFarts wrote: » The new revival animation is really annoying me, I've lost count of the times I've been in cover and because I go to revive a teamplayer it puts me completely out in the open and I get shot. It also takes way too long even as a medic, they need to sort that out because medic is fairly worthless at the moment.
Spear wrote: » No, that's coming later.
FAILSAFE 00 wrote: » Have they not added the mechanic/animation for pulling an ally into cover yet? They said they were going to. When it's in the game you'll be able to drag a downed ally to some cover where you can then begin the revival.
Blazer wrote: » Snipers are extremely useful...if they get out their spotting scopes, spot the enemies etc and provide cover fire for when taking a flag. If they're just sitting there camping like most of the noobs do then they're a waste of space.
