Would anyone consider trebling up on city defence? Ederson, Laporte and Mendy? The thought crossed my mind today.

Hi folks,
No more than Mr Prodston was saying about his team my crew have being Freefalling over the last few GW’s.Partly caused by Captaincy picks that didn’t work out and transfers decisions I made lately.
In GW 5 was 90k overall rank,after GW 10 I’m sitting at 520k!!:(
Mane an example of my bad luck/decision making.He was doing shag all so swopped him out after GW9 for Ozil,cue his great performance last wkd and Ozils 2 pts....would have Captained him too,
Brought in Pereyra for Ozil
Auba for Vardy
Ryan for Ederson
last night to try and reshape things...have 3m in the bank.
Current squad- Ryan Speroni
Robertson Rudiger Mendy Bennett Wan-Bis
Hazard Pereyra Maddison Guendouzi Knockaert
Auba Aguero Mitrovic
Usually play 4:3:3.

Sorry for long post.....just wondering what do people think of my squad going forward??
Would like to start climbing the rankings again.
Thanks for any advice.

Was in the process of adding Ederson and Laporte to my team and playing 4-4-2 but I’m 0.1m short.

Edit - I see Stones is cheaper (I’d much prefer Laporte) but he missed 4 games this season. Anyone know if it was rotation or injury off the top of their heads ?

Any love for diangana at 4.5? Could be an ok enabler probably a better option than kenedy or the likes with west hams upcoming fixtures. Not expecting anything special from a 4.5 but he seems to have an in now with yarma injured

Just did Bellerin & Gray to Mendy & Success. Bellerin is an injury doubt and don’t like the look of his fixtures, Success is a risk but needed to raise the funds. Gray has been the worst transfer I’ve made this season, pity as Watford have become free-scoring.

I'm intending on investing in WHs defence this week, sort out my bench. They have great fixtures coming up

Sheeeeitt. Mendy looks like rising. Suppose I better get him. City defence us super essential and was tempted briefly by Laporte or even Stones. But would surely regret that

I'm gonna go Laporte myself. Compared the two statswise and don't think Mendy is worth the extra outlay

Really? Yesterday was his first bonus point in 7 clean sheets. 1 goal in 10 games. Only 0.5 cheaper. Seems a bit expensive when the only major positive over Mendy is nailedness.

Now if Stones was viable at 5.3 that would be value.

Hart has been my worst decision of the season. I brought him in for Foster 3 GWs ago planning to keep him for the season and Foster has kept 2 clean sheets since, Hart none.

Looking at
1. Bennett to Mendy
2. Richarlison to Barkley

Bennett to Mendy will leave me with the template back 3. Unsure of the second transfer. Richarlison hasn’t been as good since moving up front and he has 2 tough fixtures in the next 4. Barkley is on form and has 3 good fixtures in the next 4. The concern however is that he is unlikely to start all 4 fixtures

I don't know, I've watched him and he's looking good, he pretty much has license to roam in midfield with jorginho and kante protecting the midfield

He's also so cheap it's worth considering who is his competition for selection in that price range. Brooks, Fernandinho, Capoue?

Even if his recent output halves he's worth a shot.

Think I'm going to get Mahrez and kdb in my side the next few gws. Mahrez probably this weekend. I'll give kdb maybe til gw 13,give him a chance to get match fit. Can't see him playing a full 90 for another few weeks.

I was considering Moura to Barkley to free funds up for Ings to Mitro/Arni.

Need to look at fixtures though to see what's coming.
