McCullagh should be positioned in the centre if he wants to properly moderate this debate. Notwithstanding that, he is poor compared with Kenny and got hyper and panicky when pressing Casey on his comments.

Gallagher is being exposed as the spoofer he really is. He is a commercial landlord and not an entrepreneur.

Duffy is a smarmy sort of character but he's brought up some good points about the other candidates. As a PR guy though, he has performed underwhelmingly so.

Freeman is wrong to have claimed that Pieta House has saved 30.000 people from suicide. Wholly undermined by the financing of her campaign by 'Herbalife' pyramid scheme money.

Ni Riada is aloof and unlikeable, something a lot of Sinn Fein members have in common.

Regardless of the valid points he has made about travellers. Casey is incoherent and would probably suffer from regular 'foot in mouth' disease if he was ever elected.

The comforts and benefits of the last 7 years have left an aging Higgins living in his own world, removed from real life in Ireland. That's a rather odd occurrence for someone who described themselves as a socialist.
