Id imagine with the big canons on the back its a turbo.. by coincidence 90cn2046 is a lambo so they werent all driving carinas up there back in the day!

Thankfully dont have to deal with that junction in the morning. Can see how its its bad though. Im luckily on the backroads at rush hour. There wasnt actually a collision earlier that i could see. Just a brown trousers moment and a swerve into the runoff area for the undertaking hero in a porsche suv yolk.

Some woman in a mini ran into the back of me yesterday. Was stop start moving traffic, so want moving fast. Heard the thud. Didn't want to get out... Literally nothing done, few tiny black graze marks which washed off... Thankfully!!

Later on then traffic stopped suddenly from 100km dead, car behind me was oblivious to the fact traffic had stopped, I put the hazards on and that seemed to grab his attention,could see him sitting on the brakes the way the nose of the car sat down. Another close call!

In work I've had 4 hit and runs.

One was I pushed a BMW sideways damaged the passenger side pretty bad, not my fault he swerved across but threw it in 1st gear and was gone.

Does anybody know if vouchers can be used off already head units which are already on sale? The terms and conditions on the voucher don’t say they can’t. I’m on the fence about a new head unit and an extra bit of discount could tip me over the edge onto buying it

I find this can vary on days whether or not the car or cars you have overtaken will be with you when you get to a stop.

Example:
Driving from the City.
I have a 40K drive to work each way and two routes to take, one is a N road and the other R road with not much in distance about a 1k or 2K. Google Maps tells me the R road is faster and it is right imo for the most part, (I think or maybe I just like it more not really sure....)
Moments like stuck behind a tractor and 2 cars behind it can make you question that though sometimes.

As most Irish drivers in my county anyway seem to be terrible at overtaking anything on any road other than motorway/Dual or N road, sometimes for the last normal 15 mins becomes 25/30 mins when stuck in this type situation. It is usually at that part of the journey if I hit a tractor.

The R road itself can be done with little or no traffic in about 35mins, up to 1hr with moderate to heavy traffic but usually 50mins or so.
The N road is about 35mins with little or no traffic and again is about 1hr with moderate to heavy traffic and I do it mostly around 50mins again.

So I took the N road when I started working up there for the first 18 months or more as it means I don't have to take the blasted "new road" and found that sometimes I meet the car I overtook and other times I don't.
The last year or more though I have been taking the R road and it's the same story, sometimes I meet the car I overtook sometimes I don't.
Both roads lead to the same town but different sides of it, the N road has one extra village on the way that one slows down for.

I have driven both for long periods of time over the last three years and honestly it all comes down to the day..
Even now I honestly could not say which is actually quicker overall but one thing is for sure, less checkpoints for tax in the morning and go-safevans on the R road, also the R road is windy at times so it is a joy to drive if you like driving and more interesting than the N road anyway even if frustrating at times.

All it takes is Nancy and Jimmy to be stuck behind a bus/tractor/lorry whatever on either road, it's your journey screwed... LOL At least that is my experience.

Quick wash. Got fresh brake fluid yesterday, very happy after a few months of ownership now with how it’s going. Hopefully keep it for a good few years.

No no other damage, checked the bumper, where it joins the rear quarter panels to see if it was out of line, but no. Checked to see if there was any of those light hairline cracks anywhere rom the impact, but all seems clear. The scuffs, if you'd even call them were just above the diffuser, they'd be passed off as specks of dirt.

Bumper was resprayed only a few months ago so had a good look for damage...... Plus yer wan in the mini was a cracker so didn't want to cause any agro :cool:

Fleet Street car park in temple bar is reasonable enough for overnight parking from what I remember.

Park & Ride in Balally (D14), Luas in to city centre, back out the following morning to Dundrum TC for brunch and a bit of retail therapy / Christmas shopping. Tip off on the M50 with a full belly. Be perfectly primed for more pints by the time you land home.

Ah now, lock the wheel out, remove the piece of plastic and grunt repeatedly until you've changed the bulb. The two shouldn't have taken more than an hour.

My HID auto levelers went bust before my NCT, taking both wheels off, jacking the car so that it was level (like driving) and trying to adjust the 8mm nut with zero access to set a decent level is another story, now THAT was a pain!

I've got big hands. Half the plastic fasteners were so caked in road-****e they didn't pop, but snap and my hands are bleedin hugh.

That and I jacked the car and popped the wheel off to get better access whiuch made for more time but slightly less swearing.

Some yellow zone car parks are only operational Monday to Friday, meaning it's free parking if you can find a space

Everything around Temple Bar is Monday to Saturday.

QPark Christchurch have an overnight rate of €10.00

Alternatively, some Yellow Zones like fancy has suggested here are Mon-Fri, but they're not that close to Temple Bar. Fitzwilliam Square comes to mind.
