^ re the Magnette, would anyone know what the script on the drivers door is?
It would appear to be painted on, rather than a badge. Coachbuilders name, or the owners pet name for the car??

Must be a 924 thing. I often leave the keys hanging out of the immobiliser under the dash while I pay for petrol, run into a newsagent etc.

Very risky. It's also an offence to leave keys in the ignition of an unattended vehicle. Insurance companies wouldn't be impressed either, in the event of a theft claim.

Hmm, a '61 pre-Farina. The Farina was displayed at Earls Court in 1959 or so, and soon after went on sale. I've a Farina (16/60 from '71). Likely late '50s. I might check the Farina Forum to narrow it down, as cars get small changes, which can narrow down the year.
