OK so I will break it down.
Let's imagine it was a white skinhead - a real nasty piece of **** that was being deported for the exact same crime.
People on the plane of course don't know this but we can be 100% sure they wouldn't intervene on this case - but lets say they do! - would that poster have said "Oh they did it in the best intent" ? - No, it would be a case of ... wow how these people on the plane must be such scum defending a rapist ...

It really doesn't matter what was going on. If you're sitting on a plane and get the urge to start some sort of social justice campaign, dont. Sit down, shut up and go on your holiday, letting everyone else do the same.
