So one of the sources I'm looking to use for the project is a biographical film, but I just discovered that the film is actually based on a book, so I guess I'd like to know which one I should evaluate as a source. I'd say the book would probably be more detailed, but I have an attachment to the film that I'd like to include in the project. I don't think I should study both, but I think I'm allowed to have more than three so in that case should I study the book in depth and include the movie as an extra source? Cheers for any help

The less filtering a source goes through the better, so I would say choose the book. Check how closely the film sticks to the book. It is a different ball game making a film and liberties can be taken in the name of entertainment, so be careful.
