It's not private though,people walk there all the time and train running past every hour. No guarantee of planning permission either. Not sure what could be done with that site with strict wicklow county council. Maybe something tourist related but it's a risk.

no way they will ever grant private planning permission for that (strange) site. Should the ruin of the old cable house imply one can renovate it or build a new family home there..?:rolleyes:

it might come in handy though if there'll ever go ahead a more or less big development like a housing estate ...speculation object so to say..:)

I don't know if that place is near, but shortly before the bust they were starting to build a huge estate at the coastline before greystones. so chances are not too bad with that site I would say.
