Or have some sense & wait for place to be in a finished state if we are to believe the above.

It's 1200, not 800.
On the plus side breakfast in the bed. On the negative side lunch and dinner in bed too as I can't see any dining table.

The property I'm referring to was an absolutely tiny place, also off Harcourt Street, but it was "only" 850 euro, and you didn't have to bunk-up with anyone else. Bargain!

That is absolutely f**king hideous!! :eek: I would say that it is an absolute icebox and impossible to heat as well.

No. Pure uncovered stone walls like that would suck every single bit of heat into them, leaving the rooms/house itself freezing. There's no insulation at all (that I can see) in the place, so you could have the heating and stove on 24/7 but it would be pointless as all of the heat would be sucked into the stone walls and exit the house through them, nothing to keep it in.

hmmmm I have lived in old stone cottages with no insulation and the heat stayed in.wonderfully . we will have to disagree on that.

from experience, stone houses are warm in winter. cool in summer...
