If he was fully confortabke with his own decision to resign then there was no need to follow up the statement he gave. It's not like the county board were firing shots across the bow. It looked like he might regret his decision I thought.

One of them, Peter Forde, an former Mayo captain and a former manager of Sligo and Galway. I found his interview very reserved and dignified. If anybody is making the position hard to fill it is certainly not Rochford. It is the Mayo County Board and a players revolt that had the two joint managers H & C removed after just one year in the job.

It is the Mayo County Board and a players revolt that had the two joint managers H & C removed after just one year in the job. What he has done is add another layer of cream on this like H/C did when they did their interview, but what is the point really. Nothing is going to change for him so why do it. He made his statement about his resignation and it was clear about the CB not backing him so that should be it. Coming again with round two and been questioned by Marty is just a muppet stroke. I can understand he feels bad about having to go but someone should tell him to stop digging. The hole is big enough.
