Far as I remember they’re the same as the Trajet and 5 speed Tucson, so the clutch wouldn’t be bulletproof, don’t think the gearboxes are especially bad though.

Looks wise they are fine, but the area around the driver in that one looks particularly austere. Its probably that its filthy, but....
I think the equivalent passat were a bit more jazzy than that!

But, yeah, I get what you mean about part of the furniture. After he first week you dont really notice things anymore, unless they dont work or are poorly designed.

So many sad BMWs with cloth seats. We bought one new in 2008 or thereabouts and Sensatec (fake leather) was a zero cost option. The seats looked as good as new when we sold 5 years later.

The missus was in the market for a 2009/10 three series and the amount of them out there in absolute poverty spec is astounding. The sheer meanness of BMW interiors is miserable. If you don't get an msport/business spec its a nasty place to be.

No such thing as a 1.8 petrol in the MK3.

1.6 is dog slow and a pig on juice. I know of 2 that have suffered engine failures.
