This is something I see all the time. I think it's a junction type that a lot of motorists simply do not understand. I only saw one myself this evening. The worst is when you have one of these numpties behind you beeping trying to get you to plough through the red to go around. Ugh.

This is simply a result of poor design that does not clearly indicate that the right turn is red.

Yes, he was going to have to. Well that or walk it. They don't use the lightest of bikes as the basis for the lawnmower engine, so I didn't have that much sympathy for him.

Wouldn't have any sympathy at all, assuming it's just a petrol engine stuck on to a mountain bike then it shouldn't be on the road at all.

I was curious though if by adding the engine the bike was no longer able to moved solely by the pedal power.
