Should we protest against the pope's visit?

I believe a huge protest against the popes visit is required to show the government and church they are no longer welcome or wanted in our society. What do you think? There are many stakeholders that should protest their removal from any influence in our society. Some that come to mind are:
1) Anyone not supportive of misogyny
2) Anyone that doesn't believe in school indoctrination of children in a massive lie.
3) Anyone concerned about abusers in positions allowing abuse
4) Anyone with the most basic scientific education.
5) Anyone that doesn't support cults
6) Anyone that believes LGBT people should be treated fairly in society.
7) Anyone that believes women should have ANY control of their bodies.
8) Anyone that is not seen as equal in the church namely women children and men.

There are many other areas but I realised I have covered everyone. As such let's all go to the Phoenix park to let the Vatican know they are not welcome.
Are there any peaceful groups planning to protest?

Why would anyone deny others the ability to attend any event they wish in such a way?

They have 1,000 tickets so 1,000 people who might have wanted tickets are denied.

Nobody was denied a ticket. The window offering them closed, they were available right up to that for anyone that wanted them. they just did not get rid of the volume they were expecting

Your question has been answered many times. No one was denied. There still were more than enough tickets for everyone who wanted to go. The window to apply for them closed and a some hadn’t bothered their arse alllying in time. If someone wants to get one now it is still possible via social media. However, throwing strops on the Internet is easier than finding out the real story.

Yes : I don't think tickets were actually distributed for those 'empty' seats at the back of the stadium in the pic further up, as many people had seats on the actual pitch instead. In other words, it was a full house.

You see the exact same thing with concerts at Croke Park.

That still makes them assholes because even if that was true these purchasers were not to know - so the intention was to deny 1,000 people tickets to make a personal protest.

I thought so too till I read this today

I've no doubt that some of the protesters getting these tickets my have had their babies stolen from them and sold by the church or raped by priests and then for the church to cover it up letting the priest rape again.
It's a selfish way to protest I agree but some victims deserve to be selfish on this one imo

Protestors today were getting quizzed by the cops and had names and addresses taken just because they had placards. None of the pope worshipping people with placards were approached by the cops. So I think applying for tickets that it was obvious from the first hour oils to be given away, is a safer method of protest.

Have a look at those 24 hour news channels and watch for aerial footage. If you take your blinkers off you’ll see it was nowhere near what you think from being at street level.

I wonder how many will trudge through the heavy rain tomorrow for many kms. And then sit there on their three legged stools in the rain to see IL Papa up there at the altar protected from the elements.

Just wondered if they might get a plenary indulgence for their rainy sins.
