Terrible driving indeed, but expect excuses from the Gardai about how they can't be certain that the truck you got the reg off 15 minutes later was the same truck that did the overtake.

I really do think Taxi drivers should be held to a higher standard, stuck behind one doing 70km/hr in the Port Tunnel outside lane this morning with a clear inside lane as far as the eye could see.

Didn't do the illegal undertake ... but man was I tempted.

They really do think they own the road and they get aggressive when you beep or flash them. I've been swerved at and brake tested and all just for beeping when being cut off.

On the N4 home last night one of them was in the outside lane then indicated and cut me right off just as I was about to pass. No other traffic around, could have changed lanes earlier. They also have an awful habit of driving under the speed limit and not using bus lanes.

Cycle in the middle of the lane, you don't let cars pass you by in the same lane.

This is most likely down to 2 things....

1. cheap crap Chinese ditch finders or 2. under inflated tyres.

Of course road was wet and this is always going to contribute.
