Really struggling with my last defender spot. I currently have:

Mendy - Robertson - Cedric - Wan Bissaka

I’ve up to £5.5m to spend and keep going back and forth between Coleman and van Aanholt.

If I knew Cedric would start I’d be tempted to go without Peltier and use the £1.5m spare elsewhere however.

Maybe even do someone like Foster to De Gea with the excess cash.

Just crunching some numbers re: 4.5 defenders. Tomkins had a ppg of 3.73 last season. That's a full point more than Cedric and Kabasele and 0.92 more than Daniels. Only problem is he averages 24 games a season. I might just play him every week until the inevitable injury...

Edit: He's also never had a ppg below 3 in his five seasons. I'll take that for a 4.5 defender.

Wolves kept City to a clean sheet at the Etihad last season.

But seriously I can see him get a 3 or 4 pointer there with saves/BPS so not the worst. Wolves are rock solid. I think Boly will be a BPS magnet this season and will get a few goals. With Patricio though just can't seem to fit him in my team.

I have just taken Firmino back out for Arnie ( round and round in circles I go )
It allows me to get Robertson back instead of some Wolves defender I have never seen play , Bailly instead of Shaw (if I want) and a rotating pair of keepers.
