Just to let ye know guys. They'll be a big announcement made about the future of us here in the coming days. Only a select few know the details as of yet.

Update: It's After Hours Day on Friday the 10th of August 2018!

You could've just posted an announcement as per normal on the front page, wouldve got more positive feedback than what has transpired.

Hiding behind the "it's AH" line is a poor move at this point. This has been a mess of a thread and like it or not, has probably annoyed a lot of posters just a little more about the site as a whole.

If you/the rest of the team can't see that, then it's even more of an own goal than I thought.

Wait a minute I made it clear that some people wouldn't like the announcement!
Also the mods get enough hassle for closing threads.

I genuinely thought it was going to be a meet up arranged like was being discussed in the What Boardsie would you like to spend a day with? thread.
