Android tablet needed.

Hi

I'm wondering if there is any android tablet available that would meet my needs. I need a tablet that has a full USB port and preferably a second mini USB port. The full port is needed to connect a piece of equipment I use daily. The mini port would be used for charging the tablet. Cost of the tablet doesn't really matter as I have a very good budget. The tablet would be mainly used for Netflix and email.

You will not find any good table with full USB port at this stage. Phones and tablets are getting thinner, no scope of putting full USB on them.

However a simple OTG converter will do the job for you.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. Unfortunately I've tried this sort of setup with a tablet and it doesn't work. I am not sure why but the hardware I want to connect draws quite a bit of power and is originally meant for a desktop computer or a laptop. I may have to buy a laptop instead.

Checkout the chromebook options if you want to stick to Android.

It sounds like this isn't a basic USB key or camera. Android won't support anything that requires some kind of driver package. A chromebook will be similarly useless.

OP check the devices spec sheet for compatibility.

Just checked and some of the windows tablets may work. I'd prefer android but the software does work with Windows so I may have to get a Microsoft tablet.
