Probably time to open a new thread for the 2018 season?

Silly season is still in full swing as we all know with Williams and Sauber not having confirmed their line ups as yet.

What are people's opinions on the Halo and Alfa Romeo for 2018?

Heres my full collection at the moment. All Minichamps 1:18 Scale

1) Jordan 195 as referenced earlier. This was the first car in my collection. Irish team, Irish driver made sense to buy.

2) Jordan 191 what a car. Best looking F1 car of all time imo. Michael Schumacher as the driver, this car is the version to do with his breakdown in Spa.

3) Senna Mclaren without the Marlboro sponsors, god dam pc culture. I bought it and it only dawned on me when it arrived that it didn't have the good logos on it.

4) Hamilton Championship winning car. I am a Hamilton fan so I had to add it too my collection. Just on the lookout now for one of his Mclarens.

5) Vettel Brazil car with the chuck gone out of the floorboard. What a memorable race for him winning the championship that year.

I bought plywood display cases and painted the floor of them white.

Still have all the original boxes though

I seen the top half of that pic and for second I thought it was a picture of the Renault R26. Then I seen the rest of it and seen it was only the 2018 Williams.

Lads any news on the Kubica insurance thing? I've searched and can't find anything solid but was chatting a polish chap from work who said there was a bit on the polish news about it. His solicitor managed to sort something where the payment would not be near the original amount to be paid back if he did get a seat.

Does anyone think some of the rumoured driver lineup changes will actually happen before the Belgian Grand Prix? I've read that there was some talk in the paddock last week that there could be several moves happening mid season. It's hard to imagine it though

All for 2019 yeah but I don’t see anyone being dropped before the end of the season.

Hartley will be dropped and Norris might end up on loan at Toro Rosso next season though.

A lot depends on who buys Force India but it's generally believed Sergio Perez will not be moving and Ocon at Renault is a done deal.
Russell to Williams is a story being pushed by UK media.

Formula 1 discussion on 5 live firmly placed a lot of the blame on Williams drivers pairing this season comparing the 1.5 second gap on average Stroll was behind the 'past it' Massa.
Claire Williams management was also strongly criticised which is the norm these days.

Re Force India administration - Dr.Mallaya is now out of the picture but can anyone confirm if Sergio has an input into who will be the buyer as he took the action?

On the last point, he will have no input. It's in the hands of the administrators now

Leclerc to Hass
Vandorne to Sauber
Norris at Torro Rosso
Kubica at Williams
Sainz to McLaren

Grosjean to be gone.

Sainz is in a bit of a hard position now. RB still have an option on him, Renault are leaving RB (which I think their partnership played a role in getting him in the first place). Now, RB and Renault are parting, Renault seem to want Ocon and RB are all tied up with Daniel and Max.

Haas will probably listen to what Ferrari want, and I think with the change at Ferrari now, Leclerc will likely go to Haas over Ferrari before he replaces Kimi in a year or 2 (depending if Kimi sticks around).

This is Sainz's only option really, he can't go back to Torro Rosso really as its a feeder team to RB, so McLaren is his only option, if it is actually an option.

The midfield could be massively different next year.
