Where is best pizza in Cork

I'm here about 3 years and couldn't find very good pizza here. : (
The best for now I find was calzone in Luigi malones by opera house.
I think it's because they can't put dough for pizza making into freezer, that's not how you make pizza ><
Something in Cork city would be great, also something close to Cork city by walk would be great too.

Keep in mind that I'm from Croatia and have high standards for pizza.
I will put few examples as well.

This are just examples and there is no need for pizza to look just like this one, but something close enough would be great. Also if you have photos or link to restaurants would be great.

And no dough's taken from freezer please xD, it makes such a big difference in taste.

I love La Tana and Palmento (they're brothers), Luigi Malones and Gallo & Galetti in Wilton for thin crust.

Veggies were totally raw, pizza was just thrown together and base was thick and in a weird octagon shape.

Worst thing is on the box they claim to be the "only authentic Italian Pizza". Reading such a shameless and blatant lie while that mess was falling out of the box made my experience ten times worse!

However it was a year ago though... but I'm just afraid to try them again.

Another vote for the Fran Well. Love the thin crust and how generous they are with their toppings. Also as it's wood fired it never takes too long to arrive at the table. Great excuse to have a beer with lol

Mine and 6 others' certainly looked nothing like that recently, quality control might need to step in.

Nothing wring with liking any type of pizza. But if it's all poor quality, then just make it yourself than going through such suffering.

There's nothing wrong with liking Italian style pizza, just like there's nothing wrong with American/Turkish style, which seems to be what OP is looking for. I don't think there is a lot of places that do the thicker style pizza in Cork though, but I'd give Papa John's a go, or maybe Scoozi?
