Of course i'm only going off my own experience, these are grey market sellers so caution should be taken. I never would pay more than 25eur for a game on these sites, as that's all i'm willing to lose.

NOT a bargain or an alert!

It doesn't say anywhere in this thread about it having to be a bargain or alert.. I'm discussing a site that is frequently posted here.

It's related as it's a site commonly used for purchasing bargains, so just letting people know risks involved . Chill.

They're good prices for well known games, Skerries adding in a referral link doesn't make them cost us any more money. I don't like new seeing accounts using a lot of referral codes for obvious reasons, but Skerries is the pretty much the forums' local dodgy-guy-in-an-alley-way-selling-wears-from-his-trenchcoat so... :p

SOWar I would recommend at that price to someone who has played the first but not in a good while (if not just played SOMordor for far cheaper, probably a better game too), not played COD:IW and I couldn't get past an hour or two of AC:BF because of the nosebleeds and strokes I was having from the sheer boredom of it all.

Here's a whole boatload of stuff on sale at Fanatical because Games Bargain Alerts - https://www.fanatical.com/en/publishers/capcom

They're not Skerries' referral links anyway - Savy Gamer is a UK-based bargain hunting blog.

Lewis Proctor, the guy behind it, used to do the Bargain Bucket for Rock Paper Shotgun back in the day.

It seemed better in the RPS days tbh but I figure I'm just jaded by years of bargains and backlogs since. ;)

Relative newcomer to the scene but they are legit. I have used them a fair bit recently.
They're featured on Reddit's GameDeals page which means they have been verified as authorised resellers.

As regards their cheap prices, my guess is they are selling at close to cost in order to gain market-share.
e.g. Their Monster Hunter World (PREORDER) is the cheapest around atm @ €39.35 with SCHOOLSOUT coupon, but I don't pre-order. :)

I've been thinking about finally picking up No Man's Sky. It's half price on Steam, at €27.50 (down from €55), but the GBP price is £20 (down from £40).

I don't want to change my Steam region, but my work network goes through the UK, and I could pick it up for £20 sterling on GreenManGaming, which drops to £18 with the code NEXT10. So around €20.

Am I likely to have any problems redeeming the key in Steam if I buy it that way?

Normally no problem if the game is not region locked on UK (which is something I never heard of).
But there is a problem in requesting a refund if you don't like it, and this game tends to be love it or hate it :)

How do you swap Greenmangaming to Sterling? The higher euro prices are a bit aggravating.

Cheers for that. I'm not worried on the refund side, played a bit of it before and willing to risk 20 on it. It's more the region bit that worried me.

I did find one thread on reddit from someone complaining a key they'd bought abroad wouldn't work, but that was an Asian key in the US.

Accidentally! The connection at work changed recently to go through a UK proxy and I'd forgotten. Don't think there's an option, it's geolocated, so you'd have to use a VPN/proxy
