You say he's not the victim but have not said one word about his abhorrent behaviour. You say he's not the victim but then call the media "anti-Trump", indicating he is!?

"A shining beacon of truth" - why is she not. She took a lie detector test. She said she slept with him which you say is true. He said he didn't, which means he is the one that lied.

"What she does for a living" - have you never watched porn? Do you think less of women who earn their living that way? To be honest - It's all targeted at her. Sounds like you have some serious underlying issues with women mate.

"Sleazy lawyer" - you mean unlike her previous lawyer, who went behind her back and made a secret agreement with Trump's lawyer (who you haven't called sleazy, despite the fact that he is under extremely serious investigation by the SDNY).

1) what stormy Daniels does for a living isn't illegal and anyway what she did/does for a living has no baring on how truthful she is or isn't. Also if she is lying why has Donald trump not said she was lying which he has done for all the other alledged accusers ? I'll guess it's because she's telling the truth.

2) sleazy ? I think he can be a bit over confident at times but sleazy he isn't. Her previous attorney, now that guy wasn't above board and there are text messages to prove it.

No one gives a hoot about his sex life or dysfunctional take on relationships.

No more than they gave it about Clinton.

The Americans don't care about that stuff when the person gets the job.

That was the way before Trump and it will be the way after.

It certainly was a shocking thing to be banging a pro while your wife is in a hospital with your newborn son.

So trump has said that Theresa May's brexit deal will "kill" any future us trade deal and that Boris Johnson "has what it takes" to be prime minister. I'd say TM is happy she invited him now.

I know but saying that Boris Johnson has what it takes to be PM. I can't wait to see what blunder he makes tomorrow when he meets Queen Elizabeth II. You know he'll make a mess of something. He will probably say "we have a great relationship" etc etc. You can plan what he says at this stage.

I would deeply love someone who understands the stable genius that is Trump explain his comments about London's mayor.

I think allowing millions and millions of people to come into Europe is very, very sad. I look at cities in Europe, and I can be specific if you’d like. You have a mayor who has done a terrible job in London. He has done a terrible job.

Please dont attempt to disparage my research. I watched the interview with CNN and I also read the article you linked.

He was asked multiple times for a figure of increased spending. He did not answer. He simply said NATO were spending more. Nobody is saying that is not happening. We knew this before the summit.

You have failed to provide ANY proof that new spending agreements have been made, you have been contridicted by the President of France (and since you hold people who hold/have held high office as beyond reproach, he is truthful in what he says) and myself and other people on this forum have provided countless links and evidence to show agreements on spending increases were agreed years ago.

So again I will say this - any assertion that NATO nations will spend more of defence as a result of Trumps actions at the summit is a bold faced lie.

The member nations werent meeting their spending commitments. They were clearly dragging their heels and in fact were decreasing defence/gdp ratios.
Stoltenberg has clearly stated Trump has turned this around and forced the NATO member states to increase their defense spending.
The 4% figure being bandied about by the MSM is just a deflection by the media and has been picked up by the anti-Trumpers, Trump said " maybe we should be paying 4% " and the MSM took than and ran with it as a demand by Trump cos its the only way they can report on the news these days.
So yes Trump has gotten the member nations to increase the rate of increase in their defence spending , which is the same thing as increasing their defence spending and Stoltenberg backs that up.
The 4% is a strawman arguement and full of the whatabbouttery.

So far the PROTESTS in the UK have been pretty light weight, is it the post World Cup hangover or in fact a sign that even the anti-trump protest wave is failing to materialise , just as the blue-wave will fail to turn up in November.
I expect it is. The hardcores will no doubt be there but I suspect many moderates are starting to tolerate Trump, they still dont like him but over time as they see his real achievements they are losing some of their anti-Trump venom.

Also, it appears as though Trump has somewhat snookered himself with North Korea.

The last two things to happen were.

a: evidence that nuclear programme has been stepped up
b: North Korea don't turn up for discussions about repatriation of war dead. They just left the US delegation waiting.

Trump tweets following the latter that he got a nice note and that 'great progress is being made'.

He's kind of stuck with this one. After going solo and making concessions, he declared a diplomatic victory of sorts. That now hangs around his neck as it's very hard for him to go back and declare it anything other than a diplomatic victory without looking like a very naive statesman.

I get that any diplomatic route towards disarmament will take many many years but it's quite obvious that NK are already not acting in accordance with the good spirit of their initial talks already ... like within a fortnight. Trumps problem is he can't say this and the closer he gets to elections, the less possible it is for him to say it.

I'd say well played to Kim but actually he did nothing. He turned up for one set of talks and Trump basically politically snookered himself.

Find a specific demographic to blame for this, ideally a minority so they can't hurt you at the ballot box.

Clearly, not sure I agree with you there. But sure put up the quote. It can't be the previous one you used as that didn't say anything cleary. IT said that there was a focus. Same as above. Please provide some evidence as I cannot find any reports. Take for example Germany, which was the most direct focus of Trump. Can you show me where Merkel has stated they will increase spending outside of the commitments already in place?

On this I totally agree with you. It was silly and ill thought out of Trump to bring it up and simply distracted from the message he was trying to get across. A more able politician would have kept the focus on meeting the agreed commitments rather than going off on an ill-judged, and ill0informed path.

What is means for the US tax payer is an additional $80bn in military spending from next year to bring them up to 4%.

Let's not forget that BBC Twitter video from yesterday; of the press conference and Trump flailing, waffling after being asked about Brexit. The man clearly had no clue what Brexit was or did, instead proceeding to dissemble, rambling about his golf courses and the electoral college result.

Now, suddenly, he has an opinion? Pull the other one, it's got bells on, and as observed by others has the definite smell of Nigel Farage - whom Trump loves.

Oh and he also praised Boris Johnson and that he'd make a great Prime Minister - in the same interview where he castigated Teresa May. Le Sigh. Although in many respects I do wish Johnson became PM - because I'm sick and tired of his hurling on the ditch via the pretend 'affable, clownish posh' routine & would love to see him crash and burn in the hotseat.

I think the difference though - without diverting the thread - is that the Prime Minister (and Taoiseach too) is a lot less untouchable and ring-fenced from criticism or consequence than a sitting US President. The executive power is what IMO makes Trump dangerous (his appointees notwithstanding), coupled with the intense partisanship / sports fanaticism of US politics.

Boris Johson's ability to cause damage would be significant enough & doubtlessly hit the poorest the hardest, but the exit strategies are a bit 'easier' to achieve than the tortuous impeachment protocols in Washington.

Have to say that Trump balloon is pretty funny , right down to the phone in the hand. Very creative .

And in fairness Melania looked stunning , and all in the settings of Churchills Blenheim Palace.
The Osprey helicopters carrying the Marine backup are also stunning, but for a different reason obviously.
BBC5 morning phone in with Claire McDonald had a good cross section of viewpoints, with many supporting Trump and the visit, but a majority lambasting him.
They touched on many subjects, Trump, Khan, May and Brexit .. the irony of the anti-Trump economics lecturer complaining about Trump and also ridiculing Brexit because manufacturing jobs would be lost to the UK was lost in the back and forth.

The fact that economy is at a slight improvement to how it was when he took charge is not relevant.
