They’re very small and the roof folds down. That’s all you need to know. The Corsa thing doesn’t particularly matter as long as you like the look of it.

I know it's a **** badge/ brand but I definitely would. I can't see that hanging around, not a bad looking car really, probably ok to drive, modern creature comforts and cheap-ish tax and fuel.

It's interesting how much of that car is an Opel Astra J, the more you study it. The centre console display is, the MFD between the gauges is, the steering wheel is, the light switch is and if I didn't know better, that's an Opel crest visable on the key too

may have needed an ignition barrel at some point?

Not really as we can clearly see check engine light. I think this was to show the whole interior including centre console.

Well lads, I'm looking for a 2k banger for a 250km daily commute. The VAG 1.9 TDI is obviously jumping out at me in some form. Must haves would be cruise control and NCT.

I've looked through donedeal but it's a mine field to me.

Any ideas?

There's a lad in Clane on Adverts that will retrofit cruise control for about €130 and in an hour or two so don't let that be a decider. Loads to choose from.

I did see that, but thought it’s a 19year old car and it’s not gonna be perfect. I guess you’re correct, and it could do with a wipe down. It’s the one owner, new tyres and shocks that swung me though.

Engines contain oil and other fluids on moving parts which sometimes get on the surface, the underneath of the bay also gets dirt thrown up from the road. It's only natural your not going to be able to eat your dinner off it. It's hardly a reason not to buy a car especially a 19 year old one.

My wife bought 1 of those Megane Liberte in 1999 same colour and all. If I remember the gave the Megane a slight facelift and zippier 1.4 engine later in 1999. We kept it for 2 years and then traded. Nice car though.
