Yeah I'm not sold on a DGW BB anymore. It ends up taking too much focus and funds trying to shoehorn in out of form players from poor teams. Don't know about an early BB, mainly because it's gonna be difficult to nail 15 guaranteed starters from the off.

I only did it that year as I ended up with the 15 starters
So will wait a week or 2 and see how I’m fixed

In fact I think I may even have done it gw5/6 after my first WC the year before taht too
Last season was my first and last year holding B.B. for the DGW

GW2's deadline currently says 2pm on Saturday too, there's an early game on before that.

This year the window closes before the season starts so it closing on Thursday meant it was certain that there would be a Friday start.

Some interesting options there. The two that jump out immediately are Peltier from Cardiff and Bennett from Wolves. Bennett in particular is highly rated from Wolves fans from what I've heard.

Jan Bednarek has had a decent world cup foe Poland I think I read, and was starting for Hughes towards the end of last season.
I think he got in due to a suspension to Stephens but kept his place.

Will see how they line up I preseason games and if he features much.

Leaving out most (all) of those players in my initial team and then playing an early (Gw3 or 4) WC may be my strategy of choice.

If he gets a transfer to a top 4 team ( for one his own sake he should stay where he is for a season ) he will at best be a reverse OOP starter . And possibly not even a starter
