Vid below, man takes a massive swing out at this junction. He does this every time

Visibility is fantastic both sides, the bridge has plenty of time away from the junction and the other side is a straight.

Junction is very wide and driver friendly, whilst this just restricts vision to the left in my eyes!

Unless a Picmyasso is difficult to manouvere and the driver needs to be a swing out sister... Genuinely, am I missing something obvious?

My thoughts too but while that makes one side easy to see, the other side becomes a much more difficult!

But, this has been like this years, and it was only yesterday I wondered am I missing something. It's just that junction too, as at this crossroads that manouvere doesn't happen at all, regardless if it's busy or not

I'd give them the benefit of the doubt.
I suspect that maneuver means that they can see all traffic from their left through the passenger window without any impairment by either of the Picasso A-pillars.
Perhaps they've had a previous scare at that junction?
The maneuver also looks well executed, not what you'd expect from a dope.

I had this Picasso few years back and the way side pillars are mounted, sometimes you cant see sh1t. Huge windscreen and all, but poorly designed.
