I’ve seen that before in Limerick, but it was 2 lads on quad bikes while the road markings were being repainted,

A great set up in fairness and the lads kept the traffic flowing on both sides quite well.

Do those lights have any legal standing? I could hire a set locally and put them outside my house, slow up the traffic a bit and make it easier to get in and out

I would say, that is exactly what he had planned to do, but realised that he was not going to make it so swerved back and was unable to get over to the left.
