But if you refer to the attackers as "foreign national men", everyone loses their mind.
Tea drinker wrote: » To be fair, you could go anywhere in the world and men would lose their mind in the same way re foreign national men raping local women. I think rape (with no regard to nationality) causes a very strong reaction in men and women frankly want the death penalty for it. Keeping mum about foreign rapists will only lead to more racism. Get it out in the open, get the descriptions out, get them convicted and deported. Justice served and we can all move on.
Dr Brown wrote: » It seems the rape was carried out by Non-Nationals that's why the media is playing it down. If it was Irish lads that did it we would have 24/7 news coverage.
Captain Obvious wrote: » Total nonsense. How many rapes with multiple offenders have you seen reported this year?
Captain Obvious wrote: » This is completely false. 75% of gang rapes are not committed from among 3% of the population and there is no legitimate source that claims that.
Captain Obvious wrote: » Also, Asians make up 8%, not 3%.

And no that is not a racist statement. Neither is it racist to say that when it comes to wider child abuse nearly 90 per cent of those convicted and on the sex offenders register are white men.” Naz Shah MP, 12 August 2017 Yes, almost 90% of all sexual assaults are committed in the UK by white males, this, and your mathematical skills might be as poor as your ability to research, is exactly what I stated when I said that 12% of convicted abusers are Muslim. Now, lets move onto your second disingenuous and misleading statement. Yes 8% of the UK populace identifies as Asian, but try and stay with me here, but not all Asians are Muslim, according to the most recent census, 5% of the UK population are Muslim, but, and again, try and keep up, this includes Women and Children, so my statement that 3% of the UK population are Muslim men is proveably true and as accurate as one can be using the census; Islam is the second largest religion in the United Kingdom, with results from the United Kingdom Census 2011 giving the UK Muslim population in 2011 as 2,786,635, 4.4% of the total population. The vast majority of Muslims in the United Kingdom live in England: 2,660,116 (5.02% of the population). TLDR, 12% of all sexual assault convictions, and 75% of all grooming gangs are composed from a pool of just 3% of the population, ie, Muslim men but Captain Obvious doesn't believe this warrants any adult discourse.https://www.channel4.com/news/factcheck/what-do-we-know-about-the-ethnicity-of-sexual-abuse-gangs FFS, is it too much to ask that you make an attempt at some research before posting such easily dismissed contrivances as fact, might I suggest you start by actually reading your own link which states; “Yes Pakistani men are disproportionately involved in grooming gangs and this particular model of abuse. Captain Obvious wrote: » But you didn't just say 75% of grooming gangs, you said "75% of all gang rapes and grooming gangs" and the first part is both unsupported and nonsense. It's your own little addition to the facts. Your source says nothing about the religion of the religion of the perpetrators, that's also your addition. And while 75% of the crimes may be committed by Asian men, your link demonstrates that this is a bit misleading because 17 men were charged with over 100 crimes. So while the number of crimes committed is high, the number of people doing it is quite low in comparison.
SnakePlissken wrote: » Fact check, which I have linked to twice states; 75 per cent of recorded Type 1 group abusers, who target victims based on their vulnerability, were Asian. Stop being so bloody obtuse, you asked for stats, I gave you stats, from a CEOP study no less but because those statistics contradict your deeply entrenched viewpoint you wish to argue with proveable facts... your agenda is obvious, I posted my statistics, you want to disprove them? Post your own... not that you'll be able to without mining the most disreputable and biased depths of the internet.
