Taxiway A is open again after being closed due the 2 Ryanair collisions. That helps matters efficiency wise.

Very strange departure paths from Knock this afternoon, by FR1743 to EMA and a GLF6 (N270LE of Liberty Insurance). Anyone know why?

This jet2 plane just flew very low over cork city, 4000 according to flightradar , looked to have its nose pointed upwards when it flew over? Very strange since jet2 isn’t in cork. Unless it’s testing something or else it’s hust gearing up to fly to somewhere else most likely

RESCUE115 is now safely back at Shannon after being tasked after 11pm to provide top cover for RESCUE117 to perform medevac mission from vessel over 150NM SSW of Clonakilty, RESCUE115 provided top cover & RESCUE117 successfully performed medevac & airlifted to Cork Airport. Below AIS image shows RESCUE117 in the lead to the target vessel with RESCUE115 behind her.

Indeed, it was Rescue117 (EI-ICS) I was following. ICS is the replacement for ICR that was lost in Mayo, and ICS is the only member of the fleet with an ADS-B transponder so is consistently visible on FR24. The rest are sporadically visible when in MLAT reception territory.

ICS went out of radar coverage so the requirement for top cover explains it.

Out of radar and IIRC out of radio range while at lo-alt? So the top cover acts as relay to MRCC.

STN is an absolute disgraceful for the last few months. The SNN-STN is delayed every morning, that results in knock on delays to SNN flights which can then mean the last flights for the night arriving back 2/3 hours later than scheduled.
