I thought the exact same thing. Kearney got flattened at one stage and Limerick got a point from it. We probably would have a got a point from the free! Though he should have sent O'Donoghue off by letter of the law but he shouldn't have got a card in the first place!!

Thought Harnedy got a point that wasn't given too.

We played into their hands a bit but the main thing is we haven't lost and showed we can always come back

Well I meant mentally tired in his case. games do take a toll. As well the person who he was passing too was probably tired. I just meant an overall sluggishness that comes from playing every week.

Never said it was an excuse. All teams will get a bit like that after 3 games. The main thing is that we were not beaten. Just like winning is a habit, not losing is also a habit.

We were 3 points down and I still thought we would come back.Thats due to what we showed previously

Good crowd of 34 odd thousand at the game. As a spectator, I would be curious as to where the 10 thousand empty spaces were as the stands were 99% full, Blackrock terrace full and City end 90+%.

City end was nowhere near 90% full. Probably could've squeezed another 3000 in there and a couple hundred in premium but I've no idea where the rest could go.

I just ignore the attendance figure at this stage, Thurles especially is laughable for underestimating, I'd say it's just a tax dodge they're doing

It's disappointing not to win being up a man but fair play to Limerick they are a super team full of talented hurlers,we made a lot of unforced errors in the second half.Damien Cahalane given the run around by Flanagan TBh I would not be confident of beating Limerick at all if we were to meet them down the line

I don't understand why Nash didn't just blitz the ball straight up instead of popping it to Spillane and Cahalane who only struck the ball up the field anyway without getting the same length or precision on it, not to mention that chance of losing it or giving a stray pass which happened a few times. Made my head fry tbh. Joyce and Ellis look like two lads devoid of confidence, silly mistakes play-arsing with the ball again. Still wouldn't drop either for TOM yet who still looks injured and looks like he hasn't hurled much in training with that injury.

Think the lads just need to play for themselves and forget the tactics a little. It was clear Limerick were playing with all heart whereas Cork were still stuck in the system and we all know who fared better. Bringing Coleman back to sweeper was an awful choice, let him where he is where he shines flanking and leaving quality diagonal ball into Harnedy/Hoggie/Kingston. You effectively took the best ball playing back out of the game just to sweep. Should have brought O Sullivan or Cadogan on for O Donoghue instead of TOM and let Coleman do his own thing in my opinion.

Thank f*ck for Fitzgibbon, Kearney and Hoggie. We'd be lost without them. Good God Fitzgibbon is a frightening talent. Kingston and Lehane had off games but chipped in with some flashes. What was up with Harnedy? I was at the match so couldn't track every player but was he injured? Bench looks a little flat besides Meade who finally got his chance in the centre on the 40 where he belongs. He's got the best and quickest touch of any Cork player and his brain is on another level too. Simply has to be played there. Mikey Cahalane offers something decent too but besides that subs look a little off the level required. Hopefully O'Flynn gets a run against Waterford if the game is sown up as he has the potential. Brosnan I wouldn't write off yet as he's been stellar for the Glen but maybe he is off the IC pace a little.

I don't know how many lives Cahalane has left at FB but it has to be very few. He got absolutely roasted.

Enjoyable game though, great crowd and great support from both. Hats off to Limerick, to lose your captain almost straight away and then lose your free taker and probably their best point taker in the first half and still almost feel hard done by with a draw is some going. They have some lovely hurlers, mainly from that 21s team. Kyle Hayes is not a centre forward though and besides getting that handy last minute point he looked out of place. I was shocked they didn't put him centre back when Hannon went off where he's a monster of a player. Limerick are building a lovely team though and I'd be shocked if they weren't in a final in the next few years if not this year.

Looking at all the hurling threads, its interesting to see peoples thoughts about Cork having played 3 games. People thinking Tipp and Limerick have more than us even though we drew with both of them. Both of them needed a last gasp point to get a draw with us and we should really have won both games.

Somehow people are still underestimating us which I think suits us perfectly.It's always better to be underestimated than overestimated.In each game we have had different players playing well.If we get everyone clicking on the day, we could go all the way.The weeks break is perfect for us while we wait and see how the others get on.

Cahalane was great the last day but was poor yesterday. Kingston had a great first half but then disappeared. Harnedy wasn't involved much but did create our goal. I still think Lehane is not 100% fit but he still plays well.Coleman played well but just took a bit extra out of the ball too many times.If we can get everything clicking like we threaten to do then we will take some stopping.

Sometimes I forget how young some of our players are like Coleman,meade, Fitzgibbon etc There are still things to improve on obviously but I think we are going very well.

A few years ago, we have a brilliant defence but very few scoring forwards. It seemed like we just had Paudie O'Sullivan and Horgan.Now we have scorers from nearly every position.When you just have a good defence, you cannot win as sooner or later you will buckle. Now our forwards are probably stronger then our defence. I'd always prefer it this way so at least you are hoping to score more than you concede!

There are definitely things to work on though. We totally used our extra man horribly yesterday. We went through a period again where we didn't score at all and this lets teams back into it. We messed up a goal chance when Cooper was running in. We had an overlap but somehow messed it up.

Still think we have another gear in us, that I hope will come out when games are straight knockout.

I think its also about perspective. From my position on the far right of the south stand the city end did look about 85%+ full but looking back on the match highlights you could see there was alot more empty space there.

For cork the situation is simple ,win and we will be in a Munster final,lose and out season is probably over on the 17th of June .People will say Cork will have the advantage as they have a week break but Waterford will have Kevin Moran back and probly Maurice Shanahan.Could be a cracker obviously depending if Waterford beat LImerick next week which I think they will

I thought the Balckrock End wasn't full. Quite busy but it ws comfortable away from the centre of the goals. Lots of empty space in front of me

City End esp in the corners could fit a lot more in as well

Realistically at this very moment I would put Clare, Limerick, Galway and Wexford slightly ahead of us but there is nothing at all wrong with slipping thru under the radar. It’s probaby the most even championship I ever remember. I think on our day apart from Galway it would be 50:50 with everyone.

Our defence has me worried of a mauling if things were suddenly to go south early on..

We would beat Wexford and Clare aswell ,they had a good win today but I doubt they will make it past the quarter finals
