By way of an update on another case involving DJT, Zervos (a former Apprentice contestant) is suing him for Defamation.

The matter was before the Court today.

His lawyer requested that the matter be referred to the Supreme Court to determine if the Pres can be sued in a State Court.

The Judge denied their application and directed that depositions of all parties be completed by Jan 2019.

I will hold off on the right to try. That could go well or bad if the dying and desperate are simply abused for their cash on pointless drugs. With proper regulation it could be very good to give people a chance who otherwise would be dying too quickly for future cures.

I complimented Trump on the anti lobbying stuff but got burned when he gave exemptions to those he wanted to form the swamp.

Is it down to volume? Or does it only apply to "traditional" media (TV , Newspaper)?

The MSM acronym is up there with screeching 'Fake News' as a catch-all pejorative against any need to consider the reporting of a news item one personally doesn't like. Current affairs becoming more & more like sports fandom by the day. Ironically I often see these flippancies made while affecting some faux, against-the-grain, open mindedness and honestly, just boils down to petty name calling. True critical thinking shouldn't involve blanket blinding yourself. Were it up to me I'd add those terms it to the charter.

No one is naive enough to think news outlets - especially American ones - don't have editorial agendas, but throwing around words like 'propaganda' ultimately muddies the water from discerning between 'honest', if potentially editorialised, content and actual propaganda or straight-out lies. Screaming 'MSM' over everything does precisely that, because if everything becomes suspect, the net effect is to reduce the severity of the real 'fake news' such as Pizzagate - or anything broadcast on Info Wars.

Sorry, what has states filing suits in relation to the Opioid crisis got to do with Trump?

Nowhere in any of the links you've provided does it mention Trump's name or anything he has done in terms of action in relation to the problem.

Remarks on the campaign trail are not worth a thing if he is not actually enacting policy to deal with the problem

Your post reads something more along the liners of...states are taking action on the problem, and Trump is trying to take credit for it

More trouble for Manafort. Mueller team have presented evidence of witness tampering and are asking a federal judge to reconsider terms of his bail. This could result in Manafort going to jail between now and his trial and goes to show how desperate, stupid or both Manafort actually is.
