Ipad issue

My ipad has been playing up last few days seemingly Ghost Typing https://www.lifewire.com/fix-ipad-ghost-typing-1994343

tonight when i turned it on i was getting a support.apple,com/ipad/restore on the screen with a picture of a lead

does this happen a lot this message ?

and if i didnt have itunes on my laptop how the hell would i update it ?

My ipad is not a year old. should i let Apple look at it that its under warranty?

As it is under warranty I would not hesitate to go get it checked.
