Have the oven on for baked oats. Never had them before but have been advised they're like eating dessert from breakfast which is definitely something I can get on board with.

Well, could not either afford stuff like that. .. Just too expensive. Rarely even buy a machine coffee out and maybe a 40 cent sausage roll!!!! Just not my thing... ah well, I know you young ones who are earning enjoy it and that is really grand..

Worked out one day n dunne;s that if I bought soup anywhere it was E4.. For 4.99 I can get a whole large roast chicken.... it becomes second nature!

Brekkie today was some soda bread with jam washed down with an extra large smoothie of pineapple/blueberries/banana made with coconut water.

Graces how do the people support themselves? Do they have to travel to the mainland to work? How long is the ferry crossing? Is there a lovely feel of community?

Just had a salad of pickled/oiled things. Artichoke, peppers, sundried tomatoes, olives, jalapeños, iceberg lettuce and quark.

Almost all old folk, and a very few who farm. About 10 minutes and islanders are very .... private folk. We have to be as we are close to each other.

Mostly pensioners like me ..

to be honest, I kinda half liked/half disliked the movie.
that was the second time i've seen it, and I was raging just as much as the first time, at the leading lady character. I wont give any spoilers.
I just like the idea of living alone on an island, with my very own MrFassbander to keep me company:pac:
