I had a lovely and original 96 saloon [Civic] a while ago that was gone at the bottom of the arch inside the rhs rear door, took off the sill cover and it was a grim sight right the way along.

I'd like another one all the same

the bravo is a 2008 car so is taxed on emissions. this one is a 2002 so is taxed on engine size.

In a way yes but it's no use having it stuck in a shed and not being used either. In the 2 years I have it it's only been used for one summer. It will be difficult to find another one as good though especially since it only had one owner from brand new before me and they only clocked up 83k miles in 17 years.

Relative is going to have a look at this for me shortly. He says he will take a trade in of my '07 bangernomics avensis.

Won't bother if it doesn't come across as tidy as he says it is.

My avensis is going fine and just serviced this week, but wouldn't mind a bit of an upgrade.

Exactly! If it's tidy and has reciepts for the work I will take a gamble. Only doing a few km a week to work these days.

Update on this for anyone interested.

I had to go abroad the day after I advertised it so I missed a lot of potential buyers. When I contacted them when I got back to Ireland I was greeted with a lot of timewasters & some members of a certain "ethnic group".

My neighbor, a mechanic, seen it online and contacted me. I sold it to him for the same price I bought it for in January. Happy days

Now this is definitely a car I will miss!
