There are a few pretty solid commonalities, but personal taste, the eye of the beholder comes into play. Look at the thread of the "most beautiful women in the world". I can't recall any women posted that aren't objectively beautiful, but I can think of a load that I wouldn't find attractive. And I'd not be alone in that. A thread on "most beautiful men in the world" would show the same thing.
