I see a lad who was slating greenfields a while back, whinging about how the minister is importing fodder now. The same lad is whinging about how someone advised farmers to sell stock etc, he said he has 3 culls finished but wants €1000 for them no less, you would wonder about some people alright.

Two cuts silage will take most of the years grass so probably a full years rent (€200+/acre) plus fertiliser.
You're not clear as to who's paying the fertiliser but there could be the equivalent of 6 or 7 bags 0 7 30 (€120) going out the gate as well in two cuts silage

Was a good blast if them aroun last week plenty of roos about, the european lad working here is sh#ttin himself about snake attacks and shark
attacks the way i look at it is youll get bit just as easy worrying about it as not worrying about it.

Got a delivery of kerosene this morning. I have a new bunded tank. The delivery man dropped the inner lid down between the two tanks. I can see it at the bottom on top of the outlet. My options are try to fish it up, dont think this will work. Try and source a lid off someone's old tank. Open the screws that hold the outer lid on and take up the lid, would this mean the seal wouldn't be as affective when I put the screws back in?
Or ring the manufacturer and ask for a new lid.....

First picture.Ground where tree branches were burnt before the field was ploughed and reseeded. Not sure if it's visible in the picture but there's clearly a difference in grass growth and a visible circler patch.
The boot is on the edge of the patch for guidance.

Second picture. The rest of the field.
Field was grazed in February.

(The Wellington was there before I arrived).
