I get the core policing competencies have to be prominent throughout the role play but I'm just interested to see if there are any materials that can help us along. For example, I work in a customer facing role at the moment. As a senior member of my team, I'm called on when a difficult customer needs to be addressed. For the last while I've made it a point to try and have as many of these types of interactions as I can (not to "sort this guy/ girl out") but to try and resolve the situation as best I can to make sure I deliver on service. I know in the back of my mind the policies and procedures of the environment I work in, and I am confident in what I can or cannot do for a customer within my remit. I don't want to walk into the role play and not understand what I can or cannot do for the actor. Are we expected to know policing policy?

Completed my AC not that long ago and I was wondering is it bad if I complete the role plays early? I felt I dealt with the situations effectively and demonstrated the core competencies but I've seen people run out of time during the role plays, however I had around 1-2 minutes left on mine when I was wrapping up, should I be concerned?
