An amazing pleasure

A photo of mine - which I posted on Flickr -was selected as a Flickr' Explore' photo:)

These photos ( picked by some alogarithm)are not chosen on their merits as a decent photo( although it apparently plays a part) but more on the profile of the photagrapher as a good team player for Flickr- building bridges etc

You cannot post a photo into that group - it has to be chosen

Never thought I'd see the day when a flickr upload of mine would get over 2000 views and a 100 thanks:eek:

I've a feeling that bird is well used to tourists at this stage as there were far more tourists than myself taking photos of him with their phones coming within a foot or two of him at most.
Central Park is great for seeing a whole manner of different bird species but I had to laugh, just outside one of the terminals at JFK the very first bird I saw was a starling.
