He has to be one of the greatest leaders the world has ever known, not just a stuffed suit like his wooden American counterpart. His steadfast resolve in the face of a proxy war being waged in Ukraine has to be admired, a war that would never have happened if billions weren't poured into Ukraine to kickstart a coup.

Like him or loathe him there is no doubt that Vladimir Putin is a very shrewd operator who is consistently one step ahead of the game.

Looks like Putin is banged to rights. Russia was supposed to have destroyed any stocks of Novichok years ago. So whether he used it, or someone else did, it's his fault.

He really messed up using Novichok instead of something common. He is in breach of the Convention on Chemical Weapons. That is regarding as extremely serious.

I honestly don't think he cares , he's finely crafted a Story line over the last decade where big bad NATO has completely surrounded his vast country and and mobilising large numbers of troops to sieze russsia ,and Russia needs increased nuclear weapons programme's and advanced weapons , while trying to destabilise NATO and the EU ,no matter what and where he does it ,he has an excuse of being a victim in everything he does ,
How many thousands have been killed in Syria as direct result of bombing campaigns ,
How many died in East Ukraine including the shooting down of Flight MH17 ,
Even take the Olympic doping scandal (it's all a set up ) and what happened after russians at the Olympics still doping .
And then you have the people making the excuses oh look what happened to them in ww2(every few years they revise the deaths) to make it look worse than it actually was ,
They are the consumate victims while being the aggressor first and foremost

Putin is very smart, no doubts there, but he also has a history of opportunism and striking at times when others are vulnerable. This incident screams of that somewhat and the response (or lack thereof) especially, with how pathetic May has looked to this point. If that is the case though he appears to have misjudged it a good deal here, as May had put herself in a position where there was almost no chance of redemption for her, and that's exactly what this - a particularly prickly olive branch, but an olive branch nonetheless, for someone with everything to gain and very, very little to lose politically.

Corbyn by contrast has made an absolute balls of the situation.

Because there are no stocks in other countries. According to the Russians this stuff doesn't exist, and they weren't actually busy developing and working on it after signing International chemical weapons non-proliferation treaties which obliged them to destroy existing stocks.

Ex-soviet countries have stockpiles of Russian weapons. There is not reason to believe they also don't have Chemical Agents aswell.

Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Belarus all had nuclear arms on their territory when they were in the Soviet Union.

How come the Brits have identified this stuff so quickly if the only place in the world with stocks of it is Russia? Surely if they can identify it that means they must have had access to it at some stage. So maybe they still have some stocks of it, it's not like they're whiter than white themselves. Maybe they tried to off him themselves in a way that would embarrass Russia and take the heat off May seeing as how he was no good to them as an asset anymore.

This particular substance was never acknowledged to exist so it is unlikely it was made in significant quantity and weponised otherwise the US would likely have raised it as an issue.

In 1994, through an accident of fate, the newly independent country of Ukraine found itself in possession of the world’s third-largest nuclear arsenal.

The fact is Ukraine had over 2000 nuclear weapons after the collapse.

This is why i don't believe you when you think that Ukraine also didnt/dont have an only stockpile of Chemical weapons also. the same as any other ex-soviet country

This is not the first time that I've seen this theory.

The answer to how they knew so quickly is actually quite straight-forward - spies, double agents and other dissidents. Every country has them and they are used all the time. In fact, the guy who was poisoned was one.

Countries like to know what other countries are up to and it's not hard to find out how to test for a chemical that you know the other country has.

That conspiracy theory kinda fails at the first hurdle.

Here is the logical problem: These rebels, managed to smuggle in a chemical weapons plant, made Sarin, weaponised it, then they used the weapons exclusively on themselves - not even once using them on their enemy - Syrian soldiers.

The alternative theory is that Syria has been using chemical weapons on the enemy, and not themselves, has been caught out and is 5hit scared of the consequences so have installed some of their own surplus, more likely broken, equipment, in a building and are now claiming to have 'discovered' a rebel chemical weapons lab to try and spin a BS story about the rebels cheerfully killing themselves to make them look bad.

This supposed false flag story is pathetic.

They know what the Novichok group of chemicals are because they were told about them last century, by the scientists who were working on them.
