So to kick it off a few mouth watering charts of the snow and cold potential over the coming days, stay safe.

If you check Mike Cubbard's Facebook page he has been amazing with updates. Lots of info on there about dangerous driving conditions. Even if the snow stops it will be like pure glass by morning. Fair play to her for wanting to care for the doggos but it'd be even better if she stays safe and can continue to do it long into the future!

This freezing mist is very thick and piling up in Bray now, strong winds piling it up, I honestly cant believe it, I only ever saw weather like this once in my life and that was in New York.

In Ardfinnan there has been "light dusting " for the last 2 hours and it has covered up everything that was scraped up or brushed off today. It's definitely a deeper accumulation of snow on the ground.

Forecasted lots of snow for Connemara tonight and the red warning may well get extended so best not to drive.

The red alert is for weather conditions, just because its lifted doesn't suddenly mean roads are safe to drive on

I am pretty much sure however much the doggos need her its not worth risking her life. If you cant see the road its not for driving on. Madra dont need any more desperate drama after the van incident, tell her she could cause them more hurt than good by trying to get there.

The red level I think is primarily there because of the blizzard, which would mean vicious driving conditions of low visibility, high winds and slippery roads. There could also be a few trees down, obscured by drifts of snow.

Tomorrow at 6am the high winds and blizzard may have passed, but the roads will still be dangerous with snow and ice. "Not safe" depends on your wifes confidence in those types of conditions.
