The right thing to do with those displays is mount it on the ceiling over the rear seats so you see it in the mirror.

That has aircon. It’s the button in the left at the bottom.
Keep in mind a non X Ghia prefacelift was actually quite basic. That has a few extra bits like trip computer, rear electric windows etc.
