Commonly used terms you can't stand

What are the commonly used terms you cannot stand. There are 3 that stand out for me. Millennials, snowflakes and viral. Why?

Millennials is a term that has taken hold in the last few years. The strange thing is it means people born between the early to mid 1970s to the mid 1990s rather than the obvious 2000 which is referred to as generation Z. The term on its own I have no problem with but it is the media's mocking connotations when it is used that is problematic when it is ............

Usually mentioned along with the term snowflake. This term is often used by bullies and the like to degrade people who are more sensitive than them. When applied to a whole generation, this is not pleasant. People like Bill Cullen from an older generation tend to think the younger generation has it softer when in fact each generation brings its own problems and no generation is perfect.

Viral. Originally this was meant to mean some infection and then it began to mean a malicious software program. Now, it is a term used by the media to describe something they want to push that has been viewed many times on a media affiliated social media website. Very much a term that has become a soundbite of the Tubridy era.

Something going viral isn't a a video/post that has a few thousand views over a period of weeks or months. Viral is millions in days.

Tubridy is always using the term on his show. The latest viral sensation, up on the whatever site for a week and went viral, overnight viral sensation, etc. Of course, it is like a lot of these terms not used in its correct sense.
