Posted this in the tabletop forum, but it was suggested some here might be interested:

Anybody interested in an online play-by-post game of some tabletop RPG. I've been finding Roll20 difficult to schedule as most players are in different time zones and so would prefer an Irish crowd.

No experience required and it'd be relaxed enough in pace.

Games I'd be interested in running:

1st Edition D&D, but with one of the modern adventures (award winning ones published in the last few years).

Cyberpunk 2020 Blade Runner-ish, also going to be made into a game by the lads who made the Witcher games

Rippers Resurrected High action Victorian horror, like a lighter Penny Dreadful

All of these have very cheap pdf options.

EDIT: Another possibility is Vampire: The Masquerade.

Nega level presumably? Although Bandy, Ekbard and Goodie are probably able for Nega stuff to a degree... and the level 8 Samurai now I'd say...

Holy crap - just re-reading last nights details, the stuff about the map that I only skimmed the first time around. I had an argument with my wife 3 years ago about how Game of Thrones would end and it sounds like our D&D world is based on similar principles but upside down.... freaky.

Goodie was peppering a paladin, but there are questions around how init and actions work if he was blown back out of view/ range; Ekbard was about to be told what the deal is with Zassanite hospitality, Flak has his diamond but is about to get cooked, Kal is looking for the rose, Othegre needs to be told where the beast pits are, 2 dwarf retainers never returned from the market, no one will let Kim in the bar, you need to write up Ash's taking potentially-non-or-semi-consensual advantage of Bandy in excruciating detail and Moy still owes us a Dex roll.

Ekbard has mooned death a good few times where I fully expected him to die.
Goodie faced off two consecutive instant-death no questions asked spells.
BandyLegs, as mentioned, has actually died, but once Ekbard saved him from his faith.

At this point though BandyLegs is very hard to hurt and Ekbard is very hard to survive for enemy NPCs. In Gygax's original design the game basically ended at Level 8 or 9. In modern editions Level 8 and 9 aren't quite so powerful and correspond closer to this editions Level 5.
