We have the fun engine in our mk2 punto.
The economy of it would put new cars to shame.
Last I checked it was averaging 5.4 per 100.

On the way home with the diesel panda that was on 2 pages ago. Got it for 750 with nearly full tank of diesel. Car is like new as the dealer described to me. He was amazed at the level of interest and calls in the car until I showed him this thread. Currently getting 3.7 litre/100km.thanks to the seller john phelan motors

A steal.
3.7 is some serious economy, 76mpg... Can't think of many cars these days that could match that.
I've 5.4 on ours tipping around the city.
Sprightly car aren't they?
