Why would any sane woman out to have what is essentially a miscarriage with the pain, mess, time off work etc when she can use a contraceptive.

Do you think it's OK for a woman to just get pregnant every other month, wander on down to a clinic and have it terminated?

If there is a health risk to the mother or child then by all means, do it. If it is just because you don't want a baby, I don't agree with that.

I do think the forum is pretty much known for feeling that men are hard done by versus their female counterparts and this strategy is revised with this in mind.

I'm fairly sure I'm reading you right, which is why I thought to myself well what you're saying isn't right. You're going to need a bigger brush if you're going to tar a whole forum with such a negative belief of your own and try and convince anyone who is a regular contributor here that the forum is actually anything like you suggest. If you believe the forum is known for feeling that men are hard done by and so on, then you're either not very familiar with the forum, or you're just taking from it what you already believe to be true.

I don't mean to harp on about it but your comment struck me as very unfair to the vast majority of contributors to this forum who are not of that mentality, as opposed to the small number of contributors who are. That tiny minority of contributors certainly aren't representative of the majority of contributors is all I'm saying, and that's why I wasn't on board with the idea that we should be able to make such a sweeping generalisation and allow it to go unchallenged. If it went unchallenged, that would have been tacit acceptance that the belief must be true, and as a regular contributor here, I don't think it is.
