That is crazy money and I would not spend it on a 2 litre. Supposedly they are fetching big money atm but I do not see the appeal to them. Maybe if it was a 3 litre or up but for a bog standard 2 litre no way.

I’m not so sure about that Prelude. It’s hitting classic tax and could prob get classic insurance too. When did you see one last!

I picked up a bb4 1993 jdm 2.2 sir dohc vtec prelude myself for 700€with nct and tax too, manual box and one of the best engine's ever made imo

I'd agree about the h22 being very much an underrated engine! The yanks have them down to a fine art both in n/a form or turbo'd, they're largely ignored here.

Being a jdm H22 yours would be a closed deck design too so better again.

A local Limerick dealer had one as a prize on an FB competition last year. Pretty saleproof I would hazard a guess.
