That other volvo appears be gone already, so couldnt compare for some of the details, this one looks nice, but almost double the price.
I think the tax was over a 1000, was it diesel? think it was manual too, the wife can only drive auto so, if it was nearer Id have a look, low miles, cruise, not sure I believe so much that its not heavy on fuel, but nice

I’d be concerned that it might end up on co2 tax once it goes back on real tax.

Nope. It was bought for the chape tax and the tax payer subsidised diesel fuel (compared to petrol). Ireland has had a higher proportion of diesel cars than any other country in the world. The ridiculous decade of the diesel 2008-2018 is over now though. Maybe we'll soon be able to breath again and not die of cancer.

Is it over though? Lots of new cars are still diesel.

It is. People are slow to change, the chape tax and subsidy on diesel fuel is still there (because the government is afraid to offend voters). But later in the year petrol is expected to overtake diesel in sales. And in maybe 5 years time, electric will overtake both. Not meaning to go off topic here though. The first half decent EV to hit this thread is years away
