    It's why I'm trying not to get my hopes up for the Rumble really, I've seen the last 5 live and always ended up disappointed although last year was more confusion than anything

    No idea that he would have to retire yes but no idea that he may struggle with the schedule? I think they knew that was likely.

    He was just back from a serious neck injury that at one point left him with no power in one arm. That would be the worry, that he may be off injured again. They had to put faith in others, DB got his Mania the year before.
