Despite you naysayers, she actually managed to catch a 24 in the final on Tuesday before Christmas - last time a 24 was caught was back in Series 5 when the questions were asked much quicker!

73% wins - it'd be very interesting to compare with previous series'

Looking at the older episodes on Challenge, every episode seems 100% genuine - but there are far more dubious ones nowadays. I find it hard to take the Beast's losing stats at face value to be honest, definitely think a fair few of those are thrown matches.

Does it include those farcical celebrity specials too?

Either way I think it's easier to judge this show anecdotally given all the variables

Beast is definitely the strongest chaser, with Sinha the most overall intelligent. Shaun is the most inconsistent, but has a higher ceiling than Anne and Jenny

Shaun is still a full time barrister so probably isn't nearly as invested as the others, which might explain his decline

I don't think people really watch for the Chasers' intelligence though? It's all about their personas

Otherwise they'd have those pesky eggheads on!

That is the first time I have seen her, I was not overly impressed, I thought I was going to be amazed and see her really rattling them off, stuck for time. I thought the questions were not too hard and can see another poster was previously saying that too.

Another annoying aspect is when there's a very low target set in the final chase and the chaser throws a few questions to drag it out as long as possible to up the drama
