€5 seems very small to me. If you want to keep him interested I'd be giving a bit more. What can you buy with €5 realistically

You would want to be very careful insurance wise. He is under the legal work age AFAIK and may not be insured if anything happened to him. Other than that 5/hour and if he works out you could see after that.

You see so many opinions on this.
My eldest is 15 and going for an assistant position in the local pool, cleaning, sweeping some poolside duties. They pay €5/hr.

I presume further articles may deal with those aspects, Carroll. Paud, i often like to see full raw data and do my own analysis, in various fields.
That seems to be a common trend, I find. Things get dropped in the synopsised presentation. Often, like for like comparisons are made difficult.

It may not be simply OAD V TAD. OAD at certain key points, at calving time,for first calvers and vulnerable animals, as outlined above.

Wasn't mentioned at the conference either, by presenters or audience members. The idea of comparing 8 OAD v 267 TAD as sample sizes is ****ing laughable as well.

There was a a few slides with standard deviations included that magically disappeared during the same presentation, I reckon given the raw data any statistician worth his salt would have lost one of the points that was skewing data.

Hard to believe its less when you have less labour, lameness, fertility problems and feeding required but ill keep looking into it. Worked for a lad before OAD for first month of the season and thin/lame/late cows kept OAD until their first service, 93% 6 week in-calf rate this season
